An absolute ‘MUST GO TO’ meeting!

Jackie Thomas is the Asian Hornet Team Co-ordinator for Dover & District BKA, the area most affected by the hornet incursions.

She will outline how DDBKA’s response to the YLH has evolved over the past 4 years to improve its effectiveness and become more sustainable.  She will also consider the situation at the end of 2025, and the implications this has for their future plans.

Whilst not advocating this approach as suitable for all BKA’s at present, their ‘low tech’ approach and the sharing of the problems encountered, may be of help to other BKA’s with their planning, so not wasting time ‘Reinventing the Wheel’!

Her knowledge and advice from the front line, will be invaluable for us all going forward.
